This is a class designed for handlers looking to refine their dog’s obedience skills with precision, reliability, and fluency. Using structured progression plans, this course will systematically build advanced obedience behaviors, ensuring clear communication and consistency between dog and handler. This class will help prepare you for some elements of AKC CGCU or CGCC testing. Some of the skills we will work on are:

Sit & Down: Strengthening duration, distractions, and distance with automatic responses.

Heelwork: Developing engaged, focused heeling with fluid position changes.

Stays & Recalls: Reinforcing rock-solid impulse control and fast, committed recalls.

Problem-Solving & Proofing: Working through common challenges and ensuring behaviors remain reliable under pressure.

Prerequisites: Completed Fundamentals 1 and 2 OR equivalent (puppy socialization and CGC preparation class).
